LONDON (AFP) - Gordon Banks, the England football team's goalkeeper following they won the 1966 World Cup, has died aged 81, his former club Stoke announced upon Tuesday (Feb 12).His relatives said the former star, who directionless an eye in a car crash in 1972, had died in his sleep."It is following great sore that we rule that Gordon passed away peacefully overnight," they said.
